Keith A. Jones represents clients in real estate, business, and civil litigation matters in his solo law practice, emphasizing representation of commercial landlords and tenants.  Mr. Jones advises his clients on landlord-tenant evictions and breach of lease disputes, lease negotiations, financing and refinancing, real estate sales and purchases, management contracts, construction matters, easements, boundary disputes, and general business matters.

Mr. Jones graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, then relocated to San Diego County where he attended California Western School of Law.  He gained experience with a couple of downtown San Diego law firms before opening his own office in 1991.  Mr. Jones has lived in East San Diego County for many years.

Mr. Jones is a member and Past President of the Foothills Bar Association, and currently serves on its Board of Directors.  He is an active cyclist and supports organizations dedicated to improving literacy and the Arthritis Foundation.

Mr. Jones is an award-winning author, declared as the winner of San Diego Book Awards Association’ s 13th Annual Mystery – Thriller category in 2006 for his debut novel, Mayan Equinox, in 2006.  His publisher, Salvo Press, released his sequel, Mayan Key, in 2007.  Mr. Jones’ H & S Investigations series introduced a new character in The Suspicious Spouse released in late 2010, which the San Diego Book Awards Association named as one of three finalist in its Action – Suspense category.  His novels can be purchased through or at Barnes & Noble.
