Deborah Wolfe is the founder of Wolfe Legal Group, PC, and is an experienced trial attorney who has spent her career representing plaintiffs. Thursday, October 12th, from 12:00-1:10 p.m., the Criminal Law section of the Foothills Bar Association will host the MCLE event, “Debunking Myths: Pointers on getting along with the D.A.’s Office.”  Deputy District Attorney and Chief of the East County Branch, Michele Linley, will be the speaker.  The event will take place in Department 10 of the East County Courthouse.  Bring your lunch!  The event is free to FBA Members.

“How to Impress Your Judge”

The Civil Litigation Section of the Foothills Bar Association will present the MCLE program “How to Impress Your Judge”, on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. at BJ’s Restaurant in Grossmont Center in La Mesa.

Judge Eddie Sturgeon and Judge Kenneth Medel will present an informative and interactive program on their respective departments, what they expect, common problems they see, and, most importantly, how to avoid them.

  • What is Ransomware and how do we prevent it from happening to our firm?

The Criminal Law Section of the Foothills Bar Association will host an MCLE event on “Drug Court.” This brown bag event will take place on Wednesday, July 5th from 12:00-1:10 p.m. in Dept. 4 of the East County Courthouse.
